Things To Do In Dungarvan
Dungarvan is Waterford's version of ' Kinsale' with boats moored along the quayside, it is a very pretty and historic town built around Grattan Square.
The Waterford Greenway is a cycle/walking track from Dungarvan to Waterford City (Roughly 45km). Using the old railway track, it will bring you through leafy arches, over the viaduct, passing by the the histroic Kilmacthomas Workhouse, an adventure for any age. If you like history visit King Johns Castle, and Waterford County Museum, Dungarvan. The art gallery housed in the Old Market House is worth a look. There are a number of great restaurants locally, amongst them Paul Flynn's The Tannery where they run cookery lessons, Crew's Restaurant, The Moorings and many more. Dungarvan Farmers Market is on every Thursday in Grattan Square. There are many great pubs in Dungarvan - Merrys, the Lady Belle, and The Local are the spots for the 30 somethings.

Just 5 minutes outside Dungarvan off the Clonmel road take the first right for Colligan Woods, cross the Colligan River and the walk takes 1 hour.
